The Best Assault Rifles and LMG’s In Black Ops IIII

The Best Assault Rifles and LMG’s In Black Ops IIII

Like you guys I have been having a blast (no pun intended) playing Black Ops IIII. While I have been enjoying actually playing the game I have also had a lot of fun getting into the community more and delving deeper into the game. For example, I have found it very interesting looking at the stats for the different weapons in the game.

I am more of a run and gun style player so I thought I would start by taking a look at the LMG’s and rifles that Call of Duty Black Ops IIII has to offer.

VKM 750: This is the most powerful weapon in this class and it is an LMG. It has the highest base damage and headshot damage. The base damage is 62 and the headshot damage is 68. This means that it takes three shots no matter where you hit to kill your opponent.

Titan: This is another LMG and the second most powerful. The base damage is 46 and the headshot damage is 59. So three headshots will take a guy down and four body shots will take them down. While it is not the most powerful, I actually really like this weapon and thanks to being quicker than the VKM 750 I actually think it is a better gun.

Rampart 17: Now if you ask me the Rampart 17 is the best assault rifle in the game so far. It has a base damage of 46, headshot damage of 50 and the fastest time to kill (with a headshot) of any gun in this class. Four body shots and three headshots are what is needed to kill an enemy.

These are just three of the weapons in this category. I know that the VKM 750 has the most power behind it, but I really do prefer the Titan as it is faster.

Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Players Are Get Getting Banned For Black Ops 4 Glitchs

Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Players Are Get Getting Banned For Black Ops 4 Glitchs

If you've spotted a player in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer moving at a hundred miles per hour while crouching you're not going crazy. Those are certain players taking advantage of a game glitch, which could very well get them banned from the game. In a recent announcement, the Cod Black Ops 4 team clarified their penalties for gamers taking advantage of glitches such as these and they can be pretty severe for repeat offenders.

Modern online games are expected to have few glitches popping up from time to time, with some of them granting players an extreme edge over the competition. Since Cod Black Ops 4 is a highly competitive game Treyarch wants players to know that utilizing those types of glitches is a practice that will not be tolerated.

The first major issue to pop up in their latest Multiplayer mode is a pretty odd one, allowing players to stay low and seemingly move at the speed of light. The process that goes into taking advantage of this particular glitch is pretty involved, so I'm kind of baffled how anyone discovered it in the first place.

You have to create a very specific class to get the ball rolling, then drop in and out of some custom matches, then equip specific gear, along with jumping through a few extra hoops on the way. The end result allows players to stack Perks in Multiplayer matches to get additional bonuses.

The one that everyone has been using is called Skulker, which allows players to move around more quickly while crouching or prone. That speed is compounded if you take advantage of the glitch, stacking extra copies of the Perk meaning you can move insanely fast and low to the ground.

It might be fun to use, but the end result is pretty serious for those who get legitimately reported for taking advantage of this glitch. Over on the Black Ops reddit, penalties for first-time and repeat offenders are highlighted.

For the first offense offending players will be temporarily suspended from playing the game online. As well, elements like stats, Emblems and Paint jobs will be reset. Online split screen will no longer be available, and names will be wiped from the leader boards. If you get caught using the glitch multiple times all of the above will take place again and you'll be permanently suspended from online play.

That's a pretty severe response, but again, Treyarch is trying to create a fair and fun online community that doesn't reward cheaters. Since the steps to activate the glitch are so convoluted and obvious, it's not like anyone can claim they accidentally triggered it on their account.

Finally, as noted in the post, these penalties are specifically outlined in the enforcement policy for Black Ops 4 which everyone has to agree to before playing the game. There's a section in there specifically describing anyone who abuses an exploit in the games code, which this speed-skulking glitch would fall under.

The good news is that a fix for this glitch is expected to roll out in the coming days. Based on how quickly Treyarch has been updating Black Ops 4 so far its probably a safe bet the glitch will no longer be an issue sooner rather than later.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 suspend and ban players using exploits

Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 suspend & ban players using exploits

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 released at the start of October, is already a hit, but there have been problems with players using exploits to gain an unfair advantage in multiplayer battles. An update to the game aims to crack down on players who use exploits with a range of punishments for those who get caught.

Players have been taking advantage of an exploit that allows multiple copies of the same perk to be equipped in multiplayer mode according to a post by the developers on Reddit. The developers state that they will be resolving this exploit in an upcoming update, but until then they remind players that abusing an exploit makes them subject to in-game penalties.

There are two tiers of penalties for players caught abusing an exploit

First offense: Player will be temporarily suspended from playing the game online; will have their stats, Emblems, and Paintjobs reset; will have online splitscreen privileges revoked; and will have their Leaderboard entries deleted.

Extreme or repeat offenses: Player will be permanently suspended from playing the game online; will have their stats, Emblems, and Paintjobs reset; and will be blocked permanently from appearing in Leaderboards.

The game is focused exclusively on multiplayer with no single-player campaign, so it makes sense that the developers would look harshly on players trying to get a leg up in multiplayer battles. Although it might be tempting to take advantage of glitches when playing, this news is a strong reminder that it isn’t worth the hassle to cheat.

Other new content in the update includes access to the Black Market where players can purchase cosmetic items, and the launch of the Halloween Event across all platforms with spooky-themed cosmetic items available in a second stream of the Black Market. Other minor changes have been made like doubling the bleed-out time of the last zombie in the Zombie mode, boosted XP rates in solo and two-player matches, fewer Hellhounds spawned in certain levels, and tweaking the use and effectiveness of Elixirs.

You can play Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on PC, Xbox One, and Ps4, where you can try your hand at the series first hand into the increasingly popular battle royale blackout format.

First Person Terror F.E.A.R Shooter Video Game

First Person Terror F.E.A.R

F.E.A.R is a game that I have wanted to talk about for a while and it is a game that is all about first person shooter action, but it also mixes in plenty of horror as well. This was made at a time when The Ring and movies about creepy little kids were the in thing so that is kind of what you are getting with F.E.A.R.

The story of the game is actually really cool and in all honesty, it was the story more than the first person action that intrigued me about the game before it was released. You play as a soldier who is part of a special forces unit that deals with paranormal threats. You are sent to investigate what went wrong at a “facility” only to discover that there is this creepy girl called Alma who has some psychic abilities and of course some connections to your character.

I really do not want to say too much about the story of F.E.A.R as it is full of many twists and turns and it is very exciting and I think if you love horror you will have a lot of fun with it. the first person shooter action is also pretty cool and solid. You have what is called reflex time which allows you to slow the world around down. This is not only very cool to use, but it comes in very handy against some of the tougher enemies.

I played this back on the PlayStation 3, but I have heard that the PC version is the best. F.E.A.R was followed up by two sequels and strangely I have not played either of them! Which is weird considering how much I loved the first game, well I guess I better get on eBay and track them down as I want to see how this story played out.

First Person Terror Condemned Criminal Origins

First Person Terror: Condemned Criminal Origins

Today I am talking about one of the early games on the Xbox 360 that got me excited to own the console shortly after it was first released. Condemned was actually an early game that many sites and publications used to show off the power of the Xbox 360.

You play the role of a detective called Ethan Thomas who has been framed for murder. You need to use your detective skills as you look around these old condemned buildings as you try to find the guy who framed you.

This is a really cool game. While it is a first person game and it has weapons in it, I would not call this a first person shooter. You will want to think about how you take down enemies and be smart about it. So you will sneak around and try and lure enemies into traps to take them down. This is especially true if they have some kind of gun. Ammo in this game is super scarce.

So if you take down an enemy and get their gun, you only get the ammo that is left in it after they have used it. This makes you want to take them down super quick, not just to get as much ammo as possible, but guns are very deadly in this game.

As well as dealing with enemies, you will have crime scenes that you need to investigate to help you track down the real killer. You will need to use tools, gather evidence and use the FBI to analyze it all. It is actually really well done and something the game does not get the credit it deserves for.

This was given a sequel, but I have still not taken the time to play it. Still, you can pick this up dirt cheap and I highly recommend you give it a try and make sure you play it with the lights off and the sound right up.

Player Count In Call Of Duty Blackout Mode Has Changed

Player Count In Call Of Duty Bo4 Blackout Mode Changed

We all know that 100 players seem to be the sweet spot for a Battle Royale game. Call of Duty Black Ops IIII Blackout mode has been a lot of fun and I will be honest and say that I never really gave the player count much thought.

Well clearly (and we know this because of the beta) Treyarch really want to get the player count up to 100 for all of the modes that Blackout has. Well, Call of Duty Black Ops IIII has been out for a week at this point and Treyarch has done their first bit of tinkering with the game.

In duos and solo mode, Blackout would allow you to play with 87 other players. The four player squad mode did cater for 100 players. Well in an interesting twist, Duos has now increased from 88 to 100 and squads have been changed to 88.

It appears that this is not a permanent thing as duos with 100 players is the featured playlist. So perhaps this is Treyarch still tinkering with Blackout mode to try and see what the ideal player count is. I will say that I have not had any issues with 88 players being the maximum player count in solos.

However, I think having 100 for duos and squads is right where they want to be. Still, if they are going to do that they might as well go the extra mile and have solos be 100.

I am very interested to see what kind of changes Treyarch are going to bring to Blackout mode as the year progresses.

Ranking The Call of Duty Black Ops IIII Zombies Maps

Ranking The Call of Duty Black Ops IIII Zombies Maps

I love Zombies mode in Call of Duty Black Ops IIII. I have actually spent more time with Zombies than anything else in Call of Duty Black Ops IIII. While I have only been playing the game for what I would consider a short while. I wanted to share my rankings of the three maps that come with Call of Duty Black Ops IIII.

Blood of the Dead

I love the older Zombies modes and having this map as a throwback was really cool, but I do have to put it third place. This is still a fun time, but I kind of have a feeling of “been there, done that” with this map. It is kind of a remake of the Mob of the Dead map from Black Ops II which is cool. However, compared to the other two maps it does not stand out.

Voyage of Despair

The whole time traveling aspect of Zombies and the way it is so story driven more than makes up for the lack of a campaign in my opinion. This is set on “the Titanic” and it is not icebergs you have to watch out for, but the whole undead. This map is actually larger than I thought it would be, but there are some very tight spots that can make things extra unnerving.

If you ever wondered what the movie Gladiator would have been like if Russel Crowe had to fight hordes of the undead and a zombie tiger, all the while looking for his friend’s father, that is what IX basically is. I freaking love this and I have played this map around four times in a row before I move on and do something else. I love the whole atmosphere and the arena aspect of the map.

I think this is a great start for Zombies in Black Ops IIII and while I put Blood of the Dead third, I still have had fun playing it. I just feel that the brand new maps and storyline are so awesome that they stand out way more.

First Person Terror Resident Evil VII

First Person Terror Resident Evil VII

While Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 took the series in a more action oriented direction. Resident Evil VII brought the series back to its horror roots. Not only that, but it gave the game a first person view.

Now, Resident Evil has used a first person view for certain games in the past, but none have done it as well as Resident Evil VII. The story of Resident Evil VII is that you play the role of a young man called Ethan. Ethan’s love has gone missing and then one day you get a mysterious message telling you to go to a plantation down south….. your girlfriend who has been thought dead these past few years is there, but she is different, very different!

The Baker family who lives in the plantation are infected with something horrible and they along with the creatures that live in the plantation will not allow you to leave or you to save your love. It is a fantastic story and the game is genuinely terrifying to play. I had a blast playing through these and there is a choice to be made at the end so it is worth playing through a couple of times.

This is the right step that the Resident Evil series needed to take. There is still quite a bit of action here and there are many first person shooter sections. But the majority of the game is all about being scared to death by what is happening. If you have a PlayStation VR, you can play this in VR and it is one of the scariest games you will ever play in VR!

Interesting Call of Duty Black Ops IIII Sales Stats

Interesting Call of Duty Black Ops IIII Sales Stats

I have yet to read anything negative about Call of Duty Black Ops IIII. It seems like the folks at Treyarch and Activision absolutely nailed it this year and for the majority. Call of Duty Black Ops IIII is a huge hit and most people are very happy with their purchase.

Many industry insiders had tipped Black Ops IIII to be the biggest selling game of 2018. Well, Activision has been flexing their muscles and showing just how well Black Ops IIII has done since its launch last week.

On the PS4, Call of Duty Black Ops IIII is the fastest selling digital game of all time. One other game released on the PS4 store has sold more copies on its launch day that Black Ops IIII. On Xbox One it was also a huge hit and while it may not have been the biggest digital launch overall, it was revealed that it was Activision's biggest Xbox One digital launch. Even on PC, Call of Duty Black Ops IIII was a monster digital hit as it sold more than double the amount that Call of Duty WWII did last year!

Speaking of Call of Duty WWII. There is one stat that I found very interesting. That stat is from the UK where it was revealed that physical sales of Black Ops IIII were around half of what Call of Duty WWII’s was. This is very interesting and it could be a sign that people are more willing to embrace the digital age than ever before. As a video game collector, this makes me sad as I am all about having a physical representation of a game that I like.

It is great to see a game that is so well made be so universally praised and also shift a ton of units. It will be interesting to see how many more millions of copies are sold as we get closer to the holidays.

Tips For Blackout Mode In Call of Duty Black Ops IIII

Tips For Blackout Mode In Call of Duty Black Ops IIII

If one of my buddies knew I was giving other people tips for Blackout mode he would die laughing. Well, forget that guy! I have played a lot of matches and I thought I would share a few general tips that have helped me….. well not win, but last a little bit longer in most matches I play.

Know Where You Want To Land

Make a decision where you want to land before the match starts, have a few different places in mind and then as soon as you can make it, jump and get to the ground as quickly as possible. The faster you get to the ground the faster you can get a weapon. Do not screw around with your wing suit or you will land and struggle to find a weapon before another player finds you.

Keep On Moving

My first couple of matches, I would get a weapon and stick with that for as long as possible, sometimes hiding and waiting for others to come my way. I did not have much success at all with this. I would advise that you always keep moving and looking for something better than what you have. This keeps you on your toes and ready for any guys who are trying to take you down.

Do Not Sit On Your Perks

The perks that you can get in Blackout mode are awesome and do not do what I did at first and that was waiting for the “perfect time” to use them. The perfect time may never come and you sure as hell cannot use them when you are dead. I use any perk or consumable as soon as I get it.

Keep Playing

The best advice I can give you is to just keep playing. You will get better each time, figure out new strategies, learn the map better and best of all you will have a lot of fun while you play.

Cod Black Ops 4 Zombies Tips

Cod Black Ops 4 Zombies Tips

One of the coolest aspects of this year’s Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is the new Zombies. I have spent a few hours with it and wanted to share a few tips for you guys to help you out.

Learn The Maps

There are three maps this year for you to play on. IX is actually a pretty small map and will not cause you any trouble. Voyage of the Despair and Blood of the Dead are huge though with different sections in each map. So make sure you learn the maps and figure out the best areas to open up first.

Shoot Fast, Aim Good and Reload Fast

When it comes to weapons more power is not always best in Zombies. I would advise that you go for guns like the VAPR, Spitfire and KN S7 these have really fast fire rates and they reload pretty quick too. This is vital on the higher levels, also try and aim for the head as much as possible.

Check Before You Revive

The reviving of teammates has been harder to do in Zombies in Call of Duty Black Ops 4. It takes longer than it has in the past games and it really does ramp up the tension. Make sure you clear out as many zombies that are coming your way before you try to review a teammate. Trying to revive someone when there are a few zombies close by is a terrible idea.

As I get more into Zombies I will have some more tips for you guys. Just make sure that you stick together, especially on the larger maps and that you always go for the head when you can.

Call Of Duty Bo4 Joins Forces With Monopoly

Call Of Duty Bo4 Joins Forces With Monopoly!

Today I have some very weird Call Of Duty news. No, it is not about Black Ops IIII. Although, technically it is about Call Of Duty Black Ops! Hasbro has revealed that this November if Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII is not enough we can also play a Monopoly version of the game.

I am expecting some cool merch for Black Ops IIII, but this really took me by surprise. I know it sounds super nerdy, but I actually collect Monopoly and currently I have 17 different versions of it. Does this make me insane….. well maybe, but this new Call Of Duty Black Ops Monopoly looks really awesome.

The first thing to note is the name, it is just called Call Of Duty Black Ops Monopoly and that is because it is based on all four Black Ops games. The properties are now different maps from the four games. In case you were wondering, Blackout is the most expensive property in the game.

The playing pieces are different bits of COD history. You have a dog, a drone, an RC car a mask and I cannot tell what the other two playing pieces are. These are really neat and one of my favorite things about these collectors editions of Monopoly. The money is Call Of Duty themed and the cards are Covert Ops and Intel Cards which will either help or hurt you. One thing that is really cool is that instead of houses and hotels, you can beef up your properties with command centers and headquarters.

So while I could not be any more into Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII. I think that this is a really cool collector's piece that is way better than another action figure or t-shirt to add to your COD collection.

Get Ready For Doom Eternal

Get Ready  For Doom Eternal

Look I know that we have Battlefield V, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Black Ops IIII on the horizon, but one game I am keeping a close eye on is Doom Eternal.

To say that I loved the reboot of Doom is a huge understatement. It had a story that I actually cared about and the combat in the game was absolutely brutal and I mean that as a compliment. Doom did not screw around when it came to the gore and violence.

From what I have been reading, Doom Eternal is going to be kicking things up about a million notches. The idea of the gameplay in Doom Eternal is that you now move around a level much quicker than you did in Doom. This is by design and the idea is that it will make players much more aggressive.

Running around the map chopping off one demons head with a chainsaw here, a shotgun to the head there all before spinning around 180 and blasting whatever has been on your tail the whole time sounds like a lot of fun. I think it is great that they are not just trying to give us more of the same, but actually improving on what Doom already did. Which when you consider how good Doom was is pretty cool.

In a recent interview, one of the developers had this to say,

“DOOM Eternal has some incredible enemies. We want you to feel unleashed like nothing is holding you back. This is a pure, unfiltered, action FPS experience.”

I think this is the perfect way to describe Doom Eternal; Unleashed! We still do not have a definitive date for when Doom Eternal will be released, but I have high hopes that it is going to be early next year.

Halloween Event Coming To Call Of Duty WWII

Halloween Event Coming To Call Of Duty WWII

We are still talking about Call Of Duty WWII? Well while all eyes may be on Black Ops IIII which is just a couple of weeks away. The good folks at Sledgehammer Games have been having some fun on Twitter letting us know that their excellent Call Of Duty WWII is still out there and it is a lot of fun.

The last couple of days have seen people freaking out over the tweet that Sledgehammer Games put out. It featured an image of The Headquarters, but it looks like a Halloween store threw up all over it. It is all dark and moody and there are evil looking pumpkins as well. No other information as given, but it did say Halloween Scream at the bottom.

This has gotten many of us to speculate that in the coming days we can expect that there is going to be a Halloween themed event in Call Of Duty WWII called Halloween Scream. Sledgehammer Games have been knocking it out of the park with their community events (even though the last one was the worst) and I have to be honest and thought that with Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII coming near that the last community event we got would be the last.

Well hopefully that is not the case and they have something very fun for us planned for Halloween. I would hope that this event takes place sooner than later as many Call Of Duty fans might move onto Black Ops IIII and ignore this event.

Interesting Battlefield V Weapons News

Interesting Battlefield V Weapons News

In case you did not know there is another very popular first person shooter franchise coming out in the coming weeks. While Call of Duty Black Ops IIII is getting all of the attention, many of us are still excited about Battlefield V which is coming a little later in November.

As you know Battlefield V features a bunch of different classes. Medic, Support, Recon and so on are what you know and love. Then once you pick your class you then get to more define your role in battle by picking an actual role. The role that you pick is going to make what you do in battle more important. So if you like to play as a medic, you can then choose a role for the medic that suits the way you play.

The interesting news is that some of us (myself included) thought that the role you pick would define the weapons that you could use. Well, this is not actually the case. In a recent interview, it was revealed that weapons in Battlefield V are not tied to a role, but to their class. So if you pick the Support Class for example, no matter what role you pick you are able to pick all available weapons to the Support Class.

I think this is great and it is much more likely to make me personally try out different roles as in all honesty when I find a gun I like, I like to stick with it. Being able to use any of the available guns for all the roles in a certain class is something that I think is going to make Battlefield V much more accessible.

Battlefield 1 Premium Pass Is Once Again Free

Battlefield 1 Premium Pass Is Once Again Free

The Road To Battlefield V is well and truly underway and while it has been a bit of a bumpy road. Most of us are still looking forward to it. To get players hyped up for the game, Dice are once again offering the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass for free!

This means that you will get all four expansion packs which are offering you a ton more content. It is crazy how much more content that Dice packed into their expansion packs, but there is so much fun to be had here that it is well worth doing. Even if Battlefield 1 has been sitting on your shelf for over a year and you have thought the game was done. It is well worth firing up and taking advantage of this free offer.

So to give you an idea of how awesome the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass is here is some of the content that you get with it. You get a phenomenal 16 maps which is great. There are new game modes and operation’s that will keep you very busy. New classes, weapons, and vehicles help add more variety to the gameplay.

I really cannot overstate how much content is included with this. I never purchased the two later expansion packs for Battlefield 1 when they were released and I have been having a great time with some of the maps that I have never played on before.

Despite me checking all kinds of sources I cannot find a date for when this offer comes to an end. However, I do know that this is a limited time thing so do not mess around and download it as soon as you can. I think that this is a great way for you to get hyped up for Battlefield V!
